St Andrew's Church of England

We are not absolutely certain of the exact year during the 12th
Century St Andrew's was completed, sometime after 1160, but it is home to over nine hundred years of local history, which we are delighted to show visitors by arrangement. Alternatively, feel free to come along to one of our services; our service times are on the notice board outside of the church and also on our website. We are a small, but welcoming worshiping community, always pleased to see visitors.

Over the past couple of years, some church members have been busy cutting back and removing overgrown trees and other foliage. Not only is this a great advantage to family history hunters, but enables passers-by to view our church in its full glory. Its picturesque grounds make it an ideal location for weddings and baptisms. Opposite the church is our church hall, the newly-refurbished Waring Room, which can be hired for group meetings and other events, by contacting the Waring Room Secretary. Our thanks go to Moat Housing and associates for their generosity with these refurbishments
